There had been a series of changes in Facebook in last months. Some were welcomes and some were disliked. One among them was the removal of 'Recent Stories' section from News Feed and replacing it with 'Highlighted Stories'. The idea behind this change was to put the most important story on top but the idea did not work out as expected may because people started missing important stories which were not popular but important for them.
There had been a lot of discussing over the web for this and some other changes which were not liked by FB users. As a result of the same, Facebook now rolls back one of its changes and has brought back 'Recent Stories' back to News Feed. Though the existing section 'Highlighted Stories' is still there but now users have an option to choose from two sorting types. They can either see the news feed sorted by most recent first or most discussed first.
This will definitely be a wise move from Facebook, keeping its idea and user's demand both into consideration.
