Flynano : The flying air bike we all were dreaming about

Most of us will be amazed with the flying airbikes seen in the movies like Starwars and other future age sci-fi movies and were waiting for such flying bikes to arrive in the market. Here comes an end to our wait as Flynano, the most adventurous water sports enthusiasts is invented by Finnish aviation consultant Aki Suokas.

Flynano with just 70 Kg weight is a single seated aircraft made from carbon fiber composite and will reach speeds in excess of 140 Kmph (over 85 mph). It measures 3.5 meters lengthwise and has a wingspan of 5 meters. Flynano can fly in air to a scary height of 3 kilometers as well as in water with a top speed of 80 Kmph.

The aircraft was recently unveiled at the Aero 2011 expo at Friedrichshafen in Germany drawing a crowd of admirers. Price for the FlyNano will be varying from €25,000 ($36,000) to only €27,000 ($39,000) with three different models to choose from electric, petrol or a racing version.

As per the inventors, they already test run the scale models in the air which showed very good flying abilities and a first full flight test is expected to be conducted by the end of April. Its quite obvious that the order book is filling up rapidly as this new aircraft is quite admirable and irresistible.

It seems, the videos of FlyNano in action flying up high will be available soon over the web.
