Game is in his soul..

You won't be surprised if you see a gamer remembering sound tracks of his/her favorite game. Popular games on computer and play-stations spell binds user to their theme music and gamers get used to it.

But out there is an extra ordinary gamer who uses only the game sounds and nothing else to navigate through his favorite game Zelda : The Ocarina of Time. Actually he has got no other choice but to follow soundtracks to progress the game. The gamer, Terry Garret, eliminates all his visual limitation and uses his other sense to go forward in his favorite game.

Garrett went blind at the age of 10 but his passion for game made him still learn to play the classic action / adventure games with help from one of his elder brother. The audio design in the game, where every footstep, enemy, and action makes a recognizable sound–lets him map out the game to the point where he can get through it without dying. This technique followed by him helps him navigate through the game.

At present, Garrett is working on finishing The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. Friends help him research the game, and supplements with walkthroughs that help him know what to expect. Aside from the incredible focus Garrett exhibits by picking out every sound in the game, it's also impressive that he's able to hold all that information in his head without visual fall-backs (arguably even more impressive than playing chess blindfolded).
