About a year back, we saw a movie LOVE AAJ KAL starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone showing the meaning of love in these days and comparing it with the love of yores.The movie shows that, even though, people these days try to make themselves believe that love is just an infatuation that goes away with time and that there is no such thing as true love or soulmate, in their hearts they still love each other with that passion.
Years back when the typical hindi love stories started in Bollywood, lovers were true and honest and at that time love was to give. Love was blind that time, it never asked anything in return. But these days, love is not blind. It has got eyes, ears and brain as well. It sees, analyzes, compares and then makes the wisest decision better call it the best deal.
I am not saying all modern lovers are the same but ya most of them are. Very rare and lucky people are fortunate enough to get a true lover or soul-mate these days. These days, love stories start in colleges or schools and ends up when you get married with someone else or you look after your career and break up or most commonly when you find a better option. :)
People say they are in love because having a boy friend or a girl friend has become a fashion these days. And here is where everything gets spoiled.
Except the love between mother and child, there is no true love in this world. Whatever else we see and call as love is just a bodily attraction. For that matter, just ask whether do we get attracted to someone who is not beautiful?Let say do we try to make someone as boyfriend/girlfriend who has boils on his/her face. Why? This answers our question. All these movies promote just bodily attraction between boy and girl, in technical terms "LUST" n nothing else. Even in previous years of Bollywood era, the concept used was same, only protecting shield was our wonderful Indian culture which was preventing actresses from showing off.
