HLP : Revolutionary display technology

HLP or Holographic Laser Projection is the latest revolution in the display technology which uses holographic technology to create 2D images.

Using this technology, the desired image is transformed into sets of diffraction patterns and these patterns are shown on a tiny micr
o-display. Later this micro-display is illuminated by laser light and the projected image is formed by diffraction. These patterns are highly efficient they do not block light, but steer it to exactly where it is needed and away from where it is not.

Multiple patterns are calculated, each of which forms a rough version of the image. When viewed in rapid succession, the eye evens out the noise and perceives a single, clearly defined image. So you get efficient, high quality video in real time.

HLP enables the display with rich and vivid colors with centrally focused images. Apart from this, it is also capable enough to project over a curved surface perfectly and if implemented with a wide throw angle
, it can create large images very close to the projector.

In short HLP enables integration of infrared sensing technology and creates an interactive projector
that instantly transforms any flat surface into a touch screen.
