Are you one of them who stick to phone for hours a day? We all are more or less aware of the RF emissions from cellphones which may increase chances of brain cancer in us. But what can be done cellphone has become an essential part of our daily life. Moreover, nobody said that cellphones cause brain cancer. There can be a possible connection and that's not conclusive.
But why take chance, we can just be aware of the overusing it just like we are aware of in-taking coffee. There is one more way to minimize this. Cellphones companies may use a label denoting RF emission levels with the cellphones they release. Just like the other features, people would be looking for cellphones with less emission rates. The use of label may help minimizing any such possible connection to brain cancer. A label from 0 to 10 can well say which cell phone is healthier to use and which one should be rejected.
Here are some precautions which can be taken from our side to minimize cell phone radiation :

Here are some precautions which can be taken from our side to minimize cell phone radiation :
- Use a headset that physically plugs in to your phone, such as ear-buds with a microphone attached. Unlike Bluetooth headsets, this entails no additional RF exposure near your head, although it may take a moment to connect your headset to your phone.
- Further reduce your cell phone RF exposure by placing your phone a few inches away from your body while using it, such as in a purse(for females) or on the table.
- And if possible, talk via your phone's speaker function, or send a text message instead of placing a call when its not necessary to call.
